Who we are

Trust Pro Consultants was founded in Manchester by a team of former finance directors, operations managers, and strategy leads who spent decades inside real businesses before stepping into consulting. We saw too many firms paying for glossy slide decks that gathered dust. So we built a consultancy that delivers working plans, not presentation theatre.

Our client base ranges from £1m-turnover family businesses to £40m mid-market manufacturers. We work across retail, professional services, construction, logistics, and technology. Each engagement starts with a diagnostic: two to three days on-site, talking to your people, reading your numbers, and mapping your processes.

After the diagnostic we present findings in plain language. You get a prioritised list of actions, each with a cost estimate, expected payoff, and timeline. If you want us to stay and help implement, we do. If you prefer to run with it yourself, that works too.

What we do

Six core service areas. Each one is scoped to your situation, not a template pulled from a shelf.

Strategic planning

We build three-year plans grounded in your actual numbers, market position, and capacity. The output is a roadmap your board can approve and your managers can execute, with quarterly checkpoints built in.

Financial advisory

Cash-flow modelling, cost reduction audits, pricing reviews, and funding-readiness assessments. We have helped clients recover up to 12% of annual overheads by restructuring supplier contracts alone.

Operations improvement

Warehouse layouts, scheduling systems, quality controls, team structures. We map your current workflow end to end and identify the three or four changes that will deliver the biggest impact within 90 days.

People and leadership

Management coaching, succession planning, and team restructuring. We work directly with your senior people over eight-week blocks, focusing on delegation, decision-making speed, and accountability frameworks.

Growth and market entry

Considering a new product line, a second location, or international sales? We conduct feasibility studies with real market data, competitor mapping, and break-even analysis so you invest with open eyes.

Risk and compliance

Regulatory readiness checks, internal audit design, and business continuity planning. Particularly relevant for firms in construction, food manufacturing, and financial services where compliance gaps carry serious penalties.

How an engagement works

Four stages from first conversation to measurable results.

Discovery call

A 30-minute phone or video call where you describe the problem. We ask questions, you answer honestly. No pitch deck, no sales pressure. By the end we both know whether there is a fit.

On-site diagnostic

Two to three days inside your business. We interview key staff, review financial reports, walk the floor, and observe processes. You receive a written diagnostic report within five working days.

Action plan

We present a prioritised list of recommendations. Each item includes expected cost, resource requirements, responsible person, and a realistic deadline. You decide which items to pursue.

Implementation support

If you choose ongoing support, we embed with your team for an agreed period. Weekly check-ins, monthly progress reports, and a final review at the end of the engagement to measure what changed.

What clients say

Real feedback from businesses we have worked with in the past two years.

"They found £180k in annual savings we had been walking past for years. The diagnostic alone paid for the entire engagement three times over."

"Our management team was stuck in firefighting mode. After the leadership coaching programme, meeting times halved and decisions actually stuck. Genuinely useful work."

"We were about to open a second site based on gut feeling. Their feasibility study showed us the numbers didn't work yet, and told us exactly what had to change first. Saved us a very expensive mistake."

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the things most prospective clients want to know before they pick up the phone.

How much does a typical engagement cost?

The initial diagnostic runs between £2,500 and £5,000 depending on the size of your business. Implementation support is priced on a day-rate basis, typically £850 to £1,200 per day. We agree the total scope and fee before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

Do you work with businesses outside Manchester?

Yes. Most of our clients are in Greater Manchester and the North West, but we regularly take on projects across the UK. For businesses outside a 90-minute drive, we combine on-site visits with remote sessions to keep travel costs reasonable.

What industries do you specialise in?

Construction, professional services, logistics, retail, and technology are our strongest sectors. That said, many of the operational and financial challenges we solve are common across industries. If you are unsure whether we are the right fit, the discovery call is free and takes 30 minutes.

How long does an engagement usually last?

The diagnostic phase takes one to two weeks. Implementation support varies: a focused cost-reduction project might run six weeks, while a full strategic plan with coaching could span six months. We set milestones and review progress monthly so either side can adjust.

Will we get a dedicated consultant?

Every client has a named lead consultant who stays with the project from start to finish. Depending on the scope, a second specialist may join for specific workstreams like financial modelling or HR restructuring. You always know who is responsible for what.
